# Clockshifts Employee Privacy Notice - Attendance Location Data

Clockshifts collects employee location only when the employee performs a clock-in or clock-out action.

## Data collected

- Employee code, name, email, department, branch
- Clock-in time and clock-out time
- GPS latitude and longitude at the time of clock-in/out
- Distance from assigned branch
- IP address and device/browser information
- Manager approval notes for exceptions

## Purpose

The data is used for attendance management, payroll support, manager approvals, audit evidence, and operational reporting.

## Important limitation

The application does not perform continuous employee tracking. It only records location at the time of clock-in and clock-out.

## Access

- Employees can view their own records.
- Managers can view team records.
- HR can view attendance reports.
- IT Admin/Super Admin can manage the system.

## Retention

Define the retention period according to company HR policy and applicable laws.
